Volunteers at Leigh and Wigan Local Studies services have finished indexing a major new resource for First World War researchers.
The Wigan Observer and the Leigh Journal newspapers have now been indexed in full on the Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust website, creating an invaluable resource for anyone looking for ancestors in the military.
