Recovering First World War Theatre

Are you interested in theatrical and cultural history?

‘Recovering First World War Theatre’ is a nationwide community project researching war plays written and performed during the Great War. This is a good opportunity to use our archive collections to research local stories both to include on our own GM1914 blog and on a wider database.

The project is run by Dr Helen Brooks, a theatre historian from the University of Kent. The project hopes to uncover long-lost war plays written between 1914-1918. For further information on researching and writing blog posts for Archives+ email us at info@archivesplus.org.

If you would like further details about the project please see the poster below.
